******************4/2/10-NEW UPDATE- FINAL DECISION
Hello Racers,The race has been rescheduled to April 10th, on a saturday. We are going to be staging from the lower end of Canada Hollow on Milesburn Road, accessed from shippensburg road. Parking will be one lane on the right side of the road PAST the gate. Try to get as far off the road as possible. As of now the Masters and Open Mens fields have been opened to 50 riders, the waiting lists have been deleted (anyone on a waiting list was moved to the category they were waiting for), and all of the people not racing have been removed from the registered riders list. Currently, there are about 50 spots left up for grabs. Once the 120 rider field max is hit, we will close registration and there will be no day of registration at that point. Everything is coming together and the tires are rolling. Lets get ready for an awesome race with some awesome trail and awesome atmosphere. Thanks for all your patience with the weather. See you there!

Length:
All races will race for 4 hours. If you get out on your last lap before 1pm(4 hours), you will be able to finish that lap. However if you get in after 1pm, you are done racing and will be scored at such a time. Very similar to what most 24 hour races do for scoring.

Course:
The race will start off with a short prologue climb on dirt double track. Next take a shot out a dirt road. Take advantage of this section of road to get the position you want going into the single track, you will want it. Next, exit the road to the left onto some primo singletrack with a few rocks and some swooping turns. This single track shoots out the ridge and descends to the bottom of the mountain in a brake smoking, adrenalin rush that will leave you begging for more. A short stretch up another dirt road and you head into an awesome double track climb into the "canadian wilderness" up canada hollow. It's a nice climb that you won't mind doing. Once you reach the top of the climb, you groove out the ridge on fast flowy single track with large berms that you won't be able to help but rail.
There is ALOT of climbing on this course. There is enough really good single track to even out the course and make for an awesome mix and a great race course.
Come out to get in your preseason climbing and hours in, while having alot of fun on a great course while "racing" your friends. Carpool on out and bring a bunch of people to make it even more exciting.

Hooligan-isms of my race:
Create your own race number!
Not only will there be an in-race competition, but you have another chance to win: Whoever makes the best, custom number plate will be deemed "Supreme Race Number Maker". I will have number plates to race with if you don't create you own, but I really suggest making your own. (Don't be a party pooper)
Rules are simple:
-the number must be attatched to the front of your handlebars
-the numerals must be visible
-you must have only numerals from 0-1000
-you must complete your race with your number
-your number must stay intact throughout the day
Costumes
No awards will be given, but costumes are encouraged. Remember it'll be fun. It's supposed to be fun, it's March!!!!

Directions:
****Disclaimer: Note that I highly suggest and only suggest using my directions, and not following your GPS. It is very easy to get lost and drive in circles on these backroads. Furthermore, these roads are dirt and during the winter can get very ugly, forcing the forest service to close some of them. Bear with me on this, I try to provide alternative directions as soon as I know, and try to make a visible re-routing with signs. Do your best, I do, and don’t get mad at me for closed roads, I can’t control them. ****
Mash Directions 2010
Coming from Interstate 81, exit using exit number 29 (Northern-most Shippensburg Exit). If you are coming from the north, turn left off the exit onto Walnut bottom road: after the bridge turn right onto Hershey Road (be careful not to turn into the exit ramp for I-81, its easy to do). If you are coming from the south, turn right and then make an immediate right onto Hersey Road. At a four way intersection you will continue straight onto Neil Road. At the next “T” intersection, turn left onto cleversburg road (in cleversburg). Soon, in town, you will enter a sharp bend in which you want to turn right off of onto White House Road. At the end of white house road, you want to merge onto (left) Baltimore Road (Shippensburg Road). This road will take you up the mountain and then you are looking for a dirt road off to the right, called Milesburn road. Climb up this road for about a mile and you will be at the new staging site. Please park past the gate, and as far off the right side of the road as possible.
NOTE FROM THE PROMOTER
I reserve many rights. Mostly the right to change my mind an excessive amount of times and also the right to be wrong and make mistakes. And to mix up numbers and words.
