Courses:

Swim:

The swim will be a two lap polygon with a beach run splitting up the laps. Expect a 500m (or equivalent) swim. You may want a wet-suit despite the summer date....the lake is normally very cold.

Bike:

The bike course is one large loop that covers 21 miles of michaux state forest, showcasing some of the best single track we have to offer. However, this is not all single track. This event is also about power and the course reflects it. There are plenty of long power climbs, dirt roads, fire roads, and sections of a similar nature. Don't let that derail your train though, it is broken up between some of the most amazing single track you've ever ridden in an off road tri. I'm a mountain biker and the course also reflects that.

Run:

The run will be a huge feature in this race, spanning a location we call sunset rocks. Expect a large power section, a lung searing-brain busting-eye popping climb, and a ridge-line bouldering problem. You won't be able to "run" the entire course, but boy is it ever fun! Your endurance, skill, and resolve will be put to the test on this day!
