Ahhhh, cyclocross. What can we really say? Cross is a blast. It's january, it's cold, but your season is not complete just yet. You NEED a day of relay racing with your buddies before you retire those tubular tires to the dark reaches of your basement once again. Remember that thing called 24 hour racing? That's a relay! We're doing it for 4 hours with friends in a field. Oh yeah, we're so cool that we get a whole field to ride circles in. So get your buddies together and put the season to rest with a BANG, riding circles in a field.

Registration:
Pre-Reg is available on BikeReg.com and is encouraged! Actually, I beg you to pre-reg. It really helps me not stress out about the race.
Register using the same team name. For example: If you want to be the fuzzy bunnies, you all need to put that as your team name.
The cost is $100 per team of 4 or $50 for a team of 2. Yep, thats $25 per person. Nice even numbers. If you want day of registration, the cost is $120 per team of 4 and $60 per team of 2.
Registration opens at 8:30am and closes at 9:30am. You do not need to be there with your entire team. Just come sign a waiver when you arrive. BUT MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR TEAM MEMBERS ARE AT THE RACE.
Transfers/changes/etc: Please, please, please try to get the details ironed out before you register, but if you need to change a team mate or category email me to make those changes. If something changes after registration closes, wait until you register to bring it up. We will have you fill out a "team change" form (or something along those lines) and everything will be taken care of. Money changes are between you and your team, not me.
You can find our Refund Policy located on our website. (look at the top of the screen)

Course:
I'll wind you around the Genesse Valley Outdoor Learning Center, and still not show you all they have to offer. The course will utilize farm fields, ball fields, really nice grass lawns, double track through the woods, some single track through the woods, and all kinds of fun terrain variation. Half way through the course, you will go through the largest "Circle of Death" that I have ever built (intimidating name, but it's actually a lot of fun; maybe I should call it the circle of fun). Around this "Circle of Death" is parking and room for team tents. You can load up one of your team members cars with all the group gear, and they can park it right next to the course. When you roll through, they will know that they need to get their butts over to the start line. BUT, between them and the start line is what I'm plainly going to refer to as "THE pavilion". This is THE place to be to watch the race. It is an enclosed building with a wood stove, hot drinks, other drinks anyone so chooses to bring, and the racers ride THROUGH the pavilion. Racers go through that area 2 times during the race, so it's a great place to hang out and HECKLE.

Rules:
No Dogs, the property has a no dogs rule. (Hopefully we can change this next year)
No alcohol. (this is a dry facility)
Bottle it up rule is in effect. (yes)
Do not litter. Pack in in Pack it out.
Don't sandbag, its not cool.
Racers can get out up until the 4 hour cut-off, after that no more new laps. If you start a lap before the cut-off, it counts!

Prizes:
There will be medals for top 3 teams in all categories. I'll throw together some cool prizes for you too.

Parking:
Team tent area's will be established around the perimeter of the circle of death. You can park one car (you should put all your teams gear in there to get it to your team compound) where you set up your tents. Tents should be mainly focused around the Circle of Death area, accessed by the gate on the right side of the road, just past the main race entrance. Yes you can pull up an RV or Trailer. If you think it has a 5% chance of getting stuck, do NOT pull it into the Circle of Death field. It happens. Park it in the parking lot.
All other racers and vehicles should park in the main race parking lot located on the left side of the road as you are coming in. Signage will be up.
